  • High Season of Activities in Ukraine


    The EWC programme “Schools For Democracy: Supporting Education Reform in Ukraine” has had a high level of activity thus far in 2019. The year started off with a training of trainers with over 60 participants from the National Network of Trainers, and continued with the launching conference for the IVth cycle of the programme.

  • EWC partner in the establishment of a new Centre for Roma and Sinti Culture in Prague


    In February 2019 EWC visited the site for the new Centre for Roma and Sinti Culture in Prague, that will open in 2022. As part of the Czech National Strategy for Roma Integration the project also includes the restauration of two national memorial sites; the World War II concentration camps for Roma people in Lety and Hodonín. EWC is a partner in the development of the Centre's educational activities, aiming to build more inclusive societies.

Development of New Learning Resources on 22. July 2011

EWC and The Norwegian University for Science and Technology (NTNU) are working together on developing new learning resources for educators to use when teaching about 22. July 2011 and democratic citizenship.
