    The European Wergeland Centre invites Romanian teacher trainers to participate in a training course and study visit that aims to support the quality of teacher training in Romania through strengthening competences of teacher trainers, school inspectors and school counselors in citizenship and human rights education.  Application deadline is May 3rd, 2019.

    The first international Thorvald Stoltenberg seminar for youth leaders will take place at Utøya, Norway, in June 2019. By application deadline, EWC had received 600 applications from more than 50 countries!

    The EWC project “Preparing Future Teachers in the Western Balkan: Educating for Democracy and Human Rights” is launched with a steering group meeting in Oslo April 11-12. The six partner institutions from Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, Northern Macedonia, Serbia and Kosovo* met with external experts and EWC to discuss and finalize key aspects of the project.
