The trainers will be working for six days to build a common understanding of education for democratic citizenship and human rights, developing common approaches to democratization of school culture based on the approaches of the Council of Europe.
18 new participants have joined the National Network of Program trainers, now consisting of more more than 40 trainers. The 18 new trainers were selected from 156 candidates.
"This group believes that democratic change in Ukrainian schools is possible and realistic. And we hope that their devotion and team spirit will help them in the collaboration with the schools that participate in the program", said Marzena Rafalska, Schools for Democracy head trainer.
The training started December 3 and will finish December 8.
