This collection of expert articles facilitates the exchange of knowledge and experience that have already been developed in a number of European countries, shares innovations developed in countries who are forming
a comprehensive integration policy for refugees for the first time. As such, this publication focuses on best practices and innovations in newcomer and refugee integration, looking at various levels of activity (national, local, and urban) and of decision-making (state, municipality, and non-governmental). This collection of best practices is aimed at encouraging cross-fertilization between European countries, which is necessary to strengthen the core of true European solidarity regarding migration matters.
