This teaching resource (in German) polis aktuell focusing on children´s rights serves to familiarize teachers with the basic concepts of children´s rights and provides background articles (e.g. about the 20th anniversary of the Convention on the Rights of the Child), methodologies and practical activities on children rights.

The teaching resource was developed by polis – Centre for Citizenship Education in Schools, which works on behalf of the Austrian Federal Ministry for Education, Arts and Culture. The centre supports teachers with the implementation of citizenship education and human rights education (HRE) in Austrian schools by the development and dissemination of material, workshops and seminars.
