GUNI was created after UNESCO’s World Conference on Higher Education of 1998. It has currently members from over 60 countries; including higher education institutions, research centres and networks related to innovation and social commitment. The website offers news, articles on ongoing trends, good practices and useful links in the field of higher education.
Human Rights Education Associates (HREA) is a global human rights network that provides an Electronic Resource Centre including human rights education and training materials, international articles, on-line forums, databases and links to other organisations and resources. The materials are provided free of charge.
NECE is an initiative for networking citizenship education in Europe. It is primarily directed at practitioners in citizenship and cultural education, along with scholars/experts and trainers. The website offers an extensive database, conference and workshop documentations to spread good practices, as well as information on actual debates within the field.
Oxfam Education offers a huge range of free online resources to support teachers and other professionals in developing the global dimension in the classroom and the whole school. They include lesson plans, case studies, whiteboard resources and background information in the field of Education for Global Citizenship.
