A new children's rights colouring book "Color it Rights" was developed by Cape Breton University Children's Rights Centre's. Each picture in the book represents an article of the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child. A teacher's guide was designed to accompany the colouring book.

Norway's Minister of Education, Kristin Halvorsen held the opening of the Council of Europe conference "Shared Histories for a Europe without Dividing Lines", which took place in Drammen/ Norway, June 15-17, 2010.

The 2009 IEA study of civic and citizenship education (ICCS) investigated the ways in which young people are prepared to undertake their roles as citizens in modern societies. It reports on student knowledge and understanding of civics and citizenship as well as student attitudes, perceptions and activities related to civics and citizenship.

This teaching resource (in German) polis aktuell focusing on children´s rights serves to familiarize teachers with the basic concepts of children´s rights and provides background articles (e.g. about the 20th anniversary of the Convention on the Rights of the Child), methodologies and practical activities on children rights.

This report looks in detail at the issues of language, religion and discrimination in education in Turkey. Many teachers and workers in minority NGOs have been interviewed for this report, which concludes with a series of detailed recommendations for the Turkish government and the EU.
