A report on the discussions on HRE in the UN Human Rights Council 12th session (14 Sep - 2 Oct) has been published. The Council decided on the focus for the second phase of the World Programme for Human Rights Education.

Three of Moscow’s Universities have signed a formal agreement with the Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights (OHCHR) to introduce a new academic specialization at the Master’s level in human rights studies.

This publication collects 101 exemplary practices from Europe, North America and Central Asia in the area of human rights education, education for democratic citizenship, and education for mutual respect and understanding.
