Amnesty International Norway seeks a full-time manager for the newly established International Human Rights Education Centre. The centre is based in Oslo, but has a close cooperation with Amnesty International’s International Secretariat in London.

The book “Past in the Present” was recently launched at the House of Literature in Oslo, Norway. The book combines perspectives on active citizenship, human rights and intercultural understanding, based on Norwegian examples. EWC research coordinator Claudia Lenz is one of the editors.

On 14th March, the CoE invited representatives of international institutions and civil society organisations to discuss strategies to assist member States with the national implementation of regional and international texts on citizenship and human rights education.

Amnesty International Israel plans to develop human rights education academic courses or even academic degree for student teachers. They are now seeking information about existing academic courses or initiatives that have been established around the world.
