EWC welcomes its Capacity Builder Coordinator!
Lars Gudmundson has a MA in History of Ideas and Political Sciences from the University of Oslo. He has wide experience from the Norwegian Ministry of Education and Research and the Norwegian Directorate for Education and Training. He has actively worked with issues concerning education about religion and strategy plans promoting democratic citizenship in schools. -

COMENIUS project on teaching about historical memories has started!
The project "Developing Competence-Oriented Teaching on Historical Memories" introduces the complexity of public memory and remembrance into history teaching at schools. Dr. Claudia Lenz from the EWC is one of the organizers. -

Roma Rights Summer School 2010
The European Roma Rights Centre organizes an annual Summer School, which will be held in Budapest, Hungary, from 25 July – 4 August 2010. The 10-day activity is intended for young Romani activists, students, and Roma/Human rights activists from all European countries. The Summer School offers both an introduction to human rights as well as an excellent forum for the exchange of ideas, innovation and expertise for participants. -

Global Education Week: 14-22 November
