The project "Developing Competence-Oriented Teaching on Historical Memories" introduces the complexity of public memory and remembrance into history teaching at schools. Dr. Claudia Lenz from the EWC is one of the organizers.

The conference: "Tackling Poverty and Social Exclusion in Europe through Education for Democratic Citizenship / Human Rights Education" will be held in Glasgow, March 3-5, 2010, hosted by BEMIS (Black and Ethnic Minorities Infrastructure in Scotland) and DARE (Democracy and Human Rights Education in Adult Learning).
