Postdoctoral Fellowship in Democracy and Diversity

Moscow Conference - Report now available
The Council of Europe organized, in co-operation with the Peoples’ Friendship University of Russia, a conference on “Universities as Actors of Intercultural Dialogue in Wider Society”, in Moscow, June 2009. The EWC Executive Director, Ana Perona-Fjeldstad took part in this conference. The conference report is now available. -

Course on International Human Rights Law
The three month course at the University of Nottingham gives students an in-depth understanding of international human rights standards and the international machinery of the United Nations, Council of Europe, the OAS and the African Union. The course also shows how these standards are implemented and how they work in practice. There are two programmes each year: January to March and September to December. -
