It’s the 20th anniversary of the Convention on the Rights of the Child. In 1989, world leaders decided that children needed a special convention just for them because people under 18 years old are often neglected in the human rights debate. The leaders wanted to make sure that the world recognized that children have human rights too. -

Study on materials used to teach about world religions in schools in England
Warwick Religions and Education Research Unit (WRERU) has just published the results of a large scale study on "Materials used to Teach about World Religions in Schools in England". This study, the first ever to focus on the use of materials used in religious education, involved 29 researchers and reviewers. -
