EWC Summer Academy in Poland
Recently EWC Executive Director Ana Perona-Fjeldstad and Special Adviser Gunnar Mandt met with the Polish Deputy Minister of National Education, Krzysztof Stanowski in Warsaw, Poland to discuss the possibility of organizing a summer academy in Warsaw, a joint project between the Polish Ministry of National Education, the National In-Service Teacher Training Centre in Poland and the EWC. -

Democratic governance of schools
The 2. Pestalozzi Seminar in Oslo this year will take place November 16-20, focusing on the theme "Democratic governance of schools". The target group for this conference is heads of schools, deputy heads or administrators of schools. Deadline for application: October 9. Travel (within Europe) and accommodation costs will be covered by the Council of Europe and the European Wergeland Centre. -

Seminar on Democratic School Governance
27 school heads and other educational professionals from 17 different countries were gathered in Oslo last week to discuss, practice and be trained in democratic school governance, in the 2nd seminar cooperation between the EWC and the Council of Europe Pestalozzi program. -
