Terms of Service

Use of the database and registration of a profile in the database is only allowed after signing the following terms of services, and is not allowed in cases when the right is misused.


Description of Share & Connect

The purpose of the database is to give researchers, teacher trainers, teachers, PhD students, and other experts in the field of education for democratic citizenship, human rights and intercultural understanding, the opportunity of forming networks across Europe and beyond. By creating your own profile and/or searching for others, you can find expertise, cooperation possibilities, connect with peers, and share interests and experiences.


Your registration obligations

You are entirely responsible for all content that you upload, post, email, transmit or otherwise make available via Share & Connect. The EWC does not control the content posted or the contact established via Share&Connect, as such, does not guarantee the accuracy, integrity or quality of such content.

Any misuse of the database can and will be reported.

By using the database services, you answer to and guarantee that you will only provide the correct information, you will keep the information updated, and will not use any information you enter in or find in the database for commercial purposes or gather unauthorized data.


Creating a Profile

When you create a database profile, you provide us with certain personal information, as well as work and educational related data. During the registration process we give you the opportunity to provide additional profile information. You can visit your profile at any time to add or remove information about yourself, but the mandatory fields must be completed for the profile to be active.

The EWC reserves the right to approve all profiles before they are activated.

The EWC is not responsible for the profile content, but reserves the right to refuse approval or deactivate false profiles or profiles with content in contradiction to the EWC values.

The EWC claims no ownership to the external material published in or linked to a profile.

You have to be 18 years old or more to create a database profile.
