




To encourage dialogue among researchers and practitioners, the EWC annually organizes a series of events
in cooperation with European universities and teacher training institutions.
Latest research projects and their key findings related to issues of democratic citizenship, human rights and
intercultural understanding are introduced.

The EWC network for teachers, teacher trainers, researchers, PhD students and other professionals in the field of Education for Human Rights, Democratic Citizenship and Intercultural Understanding.

Lecturer in the University of Manchester since 2006. Previously Research Fellow at the Centre of European Law and Politics, University of Bremen (ZERP). Main research interests in Human Rights and European Law. Specific topics include the horizontal effects of fundamental rights, EU discrimination law, and asylum-seekers and issues of gender and sexuality. Teaching in EC Law, Discrimination Law and Labour Law.
